Back in business

Haven't posted anything for a while, because I sold my old Canon 5D, so I couldn't shoot anything for almost a month and I've been working like crazy at the airport again.
But, I finally got the camera I've been working my ass off for the last month and I'm loving it!

I got a Canon 5D MK 2 and a battery grip and I'm hopefully getting the Elinchrome ranger lighting kit tomorrow as well, so I'm pretty much sorted after tomorrow morning.

Anyways, went shooting with the dudes tonight for the first time in ages and I thought I'd post this shot of Nikke from the new Tuusula park.

Feels so good to be taking photographs again.

peace!

World Champions

So Finland won the World Championship in ice hockey last sunday and the whole country went crazy for 3 days and I missed probably one of the biggest parties in Finland in the last 16 years, because I was in UK.
Thank god one of my favourite photographers, Samuli Ikäheimo was there to document on what happened when in Lahti after Finland won the final game 6-1 against Sweden.
quick translation on what's going on in the slideshow: In the beginning people are singing the Finnish national anthem and pretty much after that they are shouting Suomi, which means Finland of course and shouting "Finland is the new world champion"!

Oh yes, we do love our ice hockey!

Enjoy!

Damon Winter

I did a post on Damon Winters a while ago. You can find the older post here.
It's amazing to see how versatile he is as a photographer. Really love his work.
