Krisse

I've been trying to find one skate photo of Nikke for his interview in Hangup Magazine from my hard drive for pretty much the whole day, but instead I keep finding other cool photos from previous years. I think I need to archive my stuff better...
Anyways, this is Krisse from summer 2010, somewhere in Finland...

Test

since I got my Graflex Crown Graphic 4x5 camera about a year ago I've wanted to use it for portraits mostly. And now that I finally got a good lighting kit as well I thought that I'd do a test at home to see how they work.

I used a really simple lighting setup for this portrait of Liam (check out his work!) and I think the polaroid came out okay. Actually it came out pretty much what I had imagined it in my head.
I think I need to play around with the lights and stuff, but I'm definitely going to do a portrait project soonish...

peace!

Mikko Kivikoski

Haven't been shooting lots of b&w skate photos in a while. It's so much easier to shoot digital now I guess. I do miss it though. I Just love the grain and the whole process of photographing on film...
