Got some new books this week. Annie Leibovitz At Work and Danny Lyon Bikeriders. Both are amazing books and Leibovitz's black and white photographs got me really inspired, so I began scanning my old photos again. I forgot how amazing it is to have a proper scanner to scan your negs with. I have to say I got lucky with the Nikon scanner indeed...
These two are from my Helsinki Rescue Department project I did two years ago, whilst I was studying NC Photography in Bournemouth. I think this was my first "real" documentary I have ever done. It's really cool seeing your old photos that you haven't seen in ages. I really do like these, but would definitely shoot the whole project differently now.
